This post came across my dash and got me thinking about creepy amusement parks. Then I remembered that there’s one near the site of the Chernobyl disaster in Pripyat. But as I understand it, the fallout is still so high it’s inadvisable to visit it for more than ten minutes or so, and you shouldn’t touch the grass, dirt — anything organic while you’re there. Doubtful I’ll be visiting anytime soon.
